International Art Commune "Apollonia 2025"
As is tradition, the Apollonia Hotel received several new donated works from the exhibition
which now adorn the rooms and hallways. Through this initiative, the foundation helps
support local and international artists and continues its commitment

Project BIEGS – Unite for Community
The “Unite for Community” project had another successful year in 2024. Working
together with our partners across North Macedonia, the Local Action Hub (LAH) from
Gevgelija and various other stakeholders in our community, Apollonia Foundation successfully
organized and implemented several high-visibility events. Among these events were
workshops with local leaders, promotional events for Komuniti and training sessions with
other project leaders and partners.

Musical moments 2025
A special concert at Hotel Apollonia marked 25 years of “Musical Moments.” As part of “Gevgelija – City of Culture 2025,” top Macedonian artists performed classical, contemporary, and traditional music, celebrating the Association’s lasting impact on the city’s cultural life.

"My Favorite Book" - 2025
This weekend in Gevgelija, the exhibition “My Favorite Book” opened at Hotel Apolonija, presenting around 150 artworks by students from grades 4 to 9 of the “Krste Misirkov” Elementary School, inspired by their favorite books.
A selection of 30 artworks was chosen to represent Gevgelija at the international exhibition “You Like to Read, So Draw” in Paris (February 11–15, 2026), a project in its fifth edition, realized in collaboration with French artist Mlle Yolande and coordinated internationally by Anita Alabau.
