Apollonia Blood Donation Day

In 2025, the Apollonia Foundation continued its collaboration with the Red Cross of Gevgelija for the 25th and 26th editions of the semi-annual event “Apollonia Blood Donation Day”. Since October 10, 2010, the Apollonia Foundation has been collaborating with the Red Cross and the Institute of Transfusiology on this event, which always brings the community together to collect this valuable resource, capable of impacting the lives of numerous community members.
The 25th “Apollonia Blood Donation Day”, which took place on May 14, 2025, had 63 donors donating blood for the initiative between 10:00 and 16:00 at the Apollonia Hotel. The donors included compassionate community members as well as dedicated Apollonia employees. It was truly heartening to see the dedication of our community to improving the lives of people they may never meet.
Our 26th semi-annual “Apollonia Blood Donation Day” was held on November 5, 2025 at the Apollonia Hotel. During this latest event, 53 citizens and employees of Apollonia donated blood and dedicated their time to this valuable initiative.
These two “Apollonia Blood Donation Days” filled us with a deep sense of gratitude and connection to our countless participants, volunteers, organizers and collaborators who contributed greatly to the success of this year’s events. We look forward to future blood donation events and are excited to continue our collaboration with the Gevgelija Red Cross and the Institute of Transfusiology.
